PRESS RELEASE – “Family Game Night” was the theme for the 2025 Williams County Fair Floriculture Show. A total of 423 exhibits were shown with 359 individual specimens.
The Green Thumb Award for the first show went to Joyce Mocherman of Bryan for her Gloriosa flowering vine. Second show Green Thumb Award recipient was Regina Partee of Bryan for her Dahlia “AC Ben”. The Indoor Grower Award was won by Ava Herman of Edgerton for her potted succulents.
Fifty plus youth and adults participated in the Kids Day flower arrangement class with the flower specimen exhibits.
An educational exhibit entitled “Benefits of Garden Club Membership” was designed by Carol Wheeler of Bryan.
In keeping with the theme of the flower show, names of popular games were used as the titles of the 60 floral artistic designs.
The first show designs and winners are as follows:
Pictionary, a creative design – 1st place and Best of Show – Regina Partee, Bryan; 2nd place – Barb Deetz, Montpelier; 3rd place – Cam Miller, Bryan.
Chutes and Ladders, a parallel design – 1st place, Judges Award of Distinction and Peoples’ Choice Award – Kay Beck, Bryan; 2nd place – Rozetta Luke, Montpelier; 3rd place – Jess Tracey, Montpelier.
Jenga, a floor design using dried plant materials – 1st place – Cam Miller, Bryan; 2nd place – Regina Partee, Bryan; 3rd place – Rozetta Luke, Montpelier.
Twister, a spiral design – 1st place – Jess Tracey, Montpelier; 2nd place – Cam Miller, Bryan; 3rd place – Regina Partee, Bryan
Mirror Mirror, a reflective design – 1st place – Rozetta Luke, Montpelier; 2nd place – Regina Partee, Bryan; 3rd place – Kay Beck, Bryan
Candy Land, an arranged mixed bouquet using only 7 stems – 1st place – Jess Tracey, Montpelier; 2nd place – Erica Deetz, Montpelier; 3rd place – Regina Partee, Bryan
UNO, Junior Division under age 12, an arrangement featuring flowers of one color – 1st place – Briggsley Roan age 6, Bryan
The second show began on Wednesday. Those designs and winners are as follows:
Checkers, a creative design involving a checkerboard theme – 1st place and Best of Show – Kay Beck, Bryan; 2nd place and Judges Distinction – Cam Miller, Bryan; 3rd place – Regina Partee – Bryan; Honorable Mention – Rozetta Luke, Montpelier
Tether Ball, a hanging design, type 1 – 1st place – Cam Miller, Bryan; 2nd place – Erica Deetz, Montpelier; 3rd place and Peoples’ Choice Award – Rozetta Luke, Montpelier
Old Maid, a traditional design, equilateral triangle – 1st place – Jess Tracey, Montpelier; 2nd place – Barb Deetz, Montpelier; 3rd place – Regina Partee, Bryan
Go Fish, a design showing water – 1st place – Carol Wheeler, Bryan; 2nd place – Kay Beck, Bryan; 3rd place – Cam Miller, Bryan

The Pulaski Garden Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Pulaski United Methodist Church and is open to anyone interested in gardening.
