The Williams County Commissioners met on Thursday, February 19, 2026, to conduct regular business and approve permits for the Williams County Farmers Market.
In attendance: Commissioner President Scott Lirot and Terry Rummel. The agenda was approved as presented, along with the February 12, 2026 session minutes.
Transfer appropriations for the Commissioner’s Office and the Williams County Common Pleas Court were also approved.
An MOU with the Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission (NOCAC) and Job and Family Services (JFS) was approved. This agreement regards a training stipend and practice incentive for early care and education application processing. The award amount will not exceed $22,500. The term is from December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2026.
A contract extension with Fidlar Technologies for the LifeCycle Extension was also accepted. Originally contracted on January 24, 2019, the county entered a computer system and software license sales agreement with the company. On January 28, 2021, an additional contract was entered for a term of five years. The commissioners chose to renew the contract for a new term from March 1, 2025 through March 1, 2030.
A permit for use of county property was approved for the Farmers Market, with dates running from May 2026 through October 31, 2026.
In other business, the Commissioners reviewed an email from IT Manager Jeremy Suffel regarding a College Tech Internship program through the Ohio Department of Development.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
