TINORA – Two firsts were covered by the Hilltop Lady Cadets on December 20 against Tinora…neither of which were pleasant. Up by double digits going into the fourth quarter, the Lady Cadets were unable to put the brakes on a 19-8 Tinora rally that ended with the Ladies in Red with their first loss of the season and their first heartbreaker, 43-42.
Hannah Bleikamp led all scorers with 14 points and pulling down 8 rebounds for the 5-1 Lady Cadets, while Emily Armbruster had 12 points and 2 assists. Cierra Carpenter had 7 points, 7 boards and 2 assists, Sam Lillemon had 4 points, Jackie Smith had 3 points and 3 helpers and LeAnn Joost had a deuce.
