DSCF4441Connie Aeschliman, Head Librarian of Stryker Library, spoke to the Stryker Rotary Club at their regular meeting on Tuesday April 19th. Connie informed the club about upcoming events at the library. She said that the events at the Stryker Library have been very well attended in the past. They are planning for events put on by local people as well as events that showcase one of the area attractions like a zoo or other educational experience for families. Upcoming events include a local author, spring tea for senior citizens, right to read week, and Christmas in July to name a few. The library also runs a reading program thru the summer for children from May 31st thru July 6th. This program has been run in past years with very good participation, and Connie was confident it would be the same this summer. The library has been a very popular place and the staff is striving to continue this trend. The last back to school event included 125 people in attendance. The Stryker Library is a part of the Williams County Public Libraries. Connie, on the right, is pictured with Stryker Rotary Member Betty Beck.
