Pauline M. ClarkPauline M. Clark, 86, of rural Montpelier passed away Tuesday Morning at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan shortly after admittance. Pauline was born on August 9, 1930 in Edon, Ohio to Clarence and Bernetta (Schlachter) Herman. She married John Clark on May 18, 1950 in Angola, Indiana and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2001.

A 1948 graduate of Montpelier High School she resided in rural Montpelier for most of her life. Pauline had been employed at Spangler Candy Company, and Allied Moulded before retiring from the Ohio Turnpike in 1995. She was also a hand on the family farm. Pauline attended the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene.

Pauline is survived by her children, Rita (Walt) Linder of Kinsley, Kansas, Kathy (Gary) Kenney and John (Linda) Clark, Jr. both of Bryan; grandchildren, Alan (Kristen) Linder of Manhattan, KS, Maritza Linder of Addison, TX, Ben (Catiey) Clark of Bryan, Jesse Clark of Montpelier and Casey Clark of Edgerton; great grandson, Eli; brother-in-law, George (Linda) Clark of The Villages, FL; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Faber of Edgerton, Phyllis Herman and Nancy (Jerry) Cliffton both of Montpelier, Jeanette (Alan) Presley of Hamilton, IN, Lynette Dull of Butler, IN and Lucy Koch of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Clark; sister, Madonna Herman; twin sister, Maxine Gingery; and brother, Franklin Herman.

Visitation for Pauline with be on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 3-7 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Walter Hicks to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
