Varsity Golf
August 22nd, 2016

BOYS VARSITY
Delta 181, Fayette 197, Hilltop 222
The Delta Panthers were victorious in a tri-match over non-league opponents. The Panthers were led by Drew Mattin’s round of 44. Cole Mattin and Jay Vann followed with pair of 45s. Chase Sandusky (47), Brady Wymer (54) and Chris Brick (58) also competed for Delta. The Eagles were led by Tharyn Colegrove’s 46. Noah Brinegar also broke 50 with a round of 48. Other Fayette golfers included: Tanner Lemley (51), Jaryd White (52), Brett Merillat (53) and Travis Wagner (56). Hilltop’s top finisher was Jay Garrett with a round of 46. Skyler Butterfield (50), Jestin Maddox (63), Andrew Denton (63) rounded out the Cadets scoring.

Edgerton 178, Montpelier 219

GIRLS VARSITY
Montpelier 165, Edgerton 187
The Locomotives were led on the links by Brooke Dye’s 51. Other finishers for Montpelier included: Katie Taylor (53), Elizabeth Fritsch 63, Gabby Cox 66.

BOYS VARSITY
Stryker 169, Hilltop 203
A familiar name was at the top of the leaderboard as the Panthers notched a BBC vitory. Hayden Clingaman fired a 39 to once again lead his team. Austin Frisby finished with a 40 along with a 43 by Abe Montague, Aaron Sidle carded a 47, Kaid Woolace with a 49 and Colin Anders with 50. The Cadets were led by Jay Garrett’s round of 47. Other Hilltop scores included: Skyler Butterfield (49), Jestin Maddox (52), Zakk Horton (55), Andrew Denton (65).

North Central 178, Edon 209
The Eagles improved to 2-0 in the BBC and 19-13 overall with their victory. Chace Boothman was the match medalist for North Central with a score of 40. Following Boothman were: Brock Zuver (42), Allyson Hutchison (47), David Pinc (49), Landon Patten (53) and Evan Livengood (71). Scores for the Bombers included: Evan Fish (46), Brayden Bauer (48), Tatum Schaffter (54), Nathan Myers (61), Colin Dulle (65) and Austin Batt (87).

Fayette 187, Pettisville 227
The Eagles were victorious in their BBC match held at Ironwood in Wauseon.

August 25th, 2016

BOYS VARSITY
North Central 173, Pettisville 227
The Eagles improved to 3-0 in the BBC and 20-13 overall with the win over Pettisville at Patriot Hills Golf Course. David Pinc and Chace Boothman of North Central tied for medalist honors with matching 42s. Allyson Hutchison followed close behind with a 43 while Brock Zuver (46), Landon Patten (51) and Evan Livengood (61) also supplied the strokes to win. Josh Graber led Pettisville with a 53, Austin Horning (56), Drew Canada (59) and Graeme Jacoby (59) also competed for the Blackbirds.

Genoa stopped Wauseon 4-0 in non-league play. No other results were made available.

Bryan 5, Delta 1
In a non-league match, the Golden Bears won the match play format event. The match took place at Riverside Greene Golf Course. After Jay Vann of Delta defeated Case Hartman of Bryan 2 & 1, the rest of the match belonged to the Bryan golfers. Leading the shutout, the rest of the way was Owen Beaver over Chase Sandusky (1 up), Peyton Lamberson over Brady Wyler (3&1), Connor Shirkey defeated Cole Mattin (4&3), Connor Lemons downed Chris Brick (3 & 10 and Andrew Heller stopped CJ Leffler (5&4).

Hilltop 186, Montpelier 198
Skylyer Butterfield was the medalist in this BBC match. Butterfield led the field with a round of 40. Jay Garrett (43), Jestin Maddox (50), Zakk Horton (53), Andrew Denton (55) rounded out the Cadet scoring. Montpeliers low golfer was Aaron Stoy with a 44. Tyler Rupp was next shooting a round of 49. Garrett Witte finished with a 50 while Roman Sommer had a 55, Brock Oneal 56, and Braden Saneholtz 69.

Dimension Hardwood

Stryker 156, Edgerton 171
The Panthers golfing machine rolled over the Bulldogs for a BBC win. Once again Hayden Clingman mastered the nine holes with a medalist-earning 34. Other outstanding scores turned in by the Panthers were a pair of 39s by Austin Frisbie and Abe Montague. Aaron Sidle fired a 44 and Colin Anders finished with a 50. Jake Siebenaler led Edgerton with a 40. Drew Hug (42), Cameron Schaper (43), Dacoda Faber (46) and Zadin McNalley (53) also competed for the Bulldogs.

Wauseon 197, Bowling Green 213
CJ Mosser paced the Indians with a medalist earning 40 as they grabbed a win over the Bobcats. Following Mosser was Trent Armstrong (49), Caleb Leu (53), Eric Parker (55) and Logan Blackman (78).

Fayette 181, Pettisville 227
The Eagles had five golfers break the 50 barrier on way to their dismantling of the Blackbirds. Leading the charge was Noah Brineger with a 43. Two strokes back were Tharyn Colegrove with a 45 as well as a 45 from Tanner Lemley. Brett Merillat’s 48 and Jaryd White’s 49 as well as a 50 from Travis Wagner rounded out the Fayette scoring. Pettisville’s top golfer was Graeme Jacoby who shot a round of 51. Austin Horning (54), Drew Canada (59) and Josh Graber (63) also competed for the Blackbirds.

VARSITY GOLF
Fairview 180, Wauseon 197
CJ Moser won medalist honors with a 41, but the Apaches supporting cast led them to the non-league victory. Trent Armstrong (46), Caleb Leu (54), Eric Parker (56) and Logan Blackman (73) rounded out the Indians scoring.
