“The Hometown Huddle & Manogear” Female Athlete of the Week

Anybody that has watched high school softball over the past few years knows who Kacie Hodson is. Anybody that has had to pitch to her DEFINATELY knows who she is. Over the past two seasons, Kacie has shown a propensity to avoid making outs by simply hitting the ball where nobody can get it…like over the outfield fences. Now in her senior campaign, Kacie is taking on a new role…starting pitcher. Big surprise…she’s pretty good at that as well. Combining the two, she may be able to kick the old addage, “pitchers can’t hit,” straight to the curb.
