One resident came out to the latest occurrence of “Coffee with a Cop” at the Upper Crust in Wauseon.
Five law enforcement representatives and Mayor Kathey Huner attended the event and spent most of the time all by themselves. The attendance has been sporadic since one of the early installments at another coffeeshop.
Dr. Conrado Jensen came in to talk about the parking issues on his street. He lives on one of the town’s oldest streets (Howard, Marshall and Franklin) which have been in place since the late 19th century. Jensen wants the city to revisit the issue of water main leak and the narrow road.
Police Chief Keith Torbet thanked him for coming and said the people who live on a street should dictate what happens as far as parking.
Mayor Huner also thanked Conrad for coming and voicing his concerns and said he would be invited to speak to the city council.
