Swanton Bulldogs Chomp Down On The Pettisville Blackbirds On April 9th

PETTISVILLE – The Swanton Bulldogs may not have used golf clubs, but they did tee off against Pettisville on April 9. The Bulldogs tattooed Cam Norris for 6 runs in just 1 1/3 innings, showing little mercy to those that followed him to the hill in a 15-1 thrashing.

Norris was tagged for 6 runs, 5 earned on 4 hits and a walk, striking out 5. Dustin Nofziger allowed 3 runs, 2 unearned on 6 hits and 2 walks over the next 4 2/3 innings, whiffing a pair. Christian Barhite worked the seventh, allowing 6 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks.

Alex Roth had a double for the 2-5 Blackbirds, while Norris, Jacob Roth and Tanner Rufenacht each had a base hit.
