Edon High School’s Cinderella Project Benefits Cancer Assistance Of Williams County

DONATION … Student organizers from the 2013 Edon High School Cinderella Project were pleased to present a check for $830 to Cancer Assistance of Williams County in memory of Robin B. Spangler, long-time teacher at the school. Proceeds from the annual event were generated through sales of donated prom dresses to young women from across the surrounding tri-state area.[emember_protected custom_msg=”Full content protected for online subscribers. Subscriptions cover our costs to attend local events; bringing forth Hometown News Coverage to our communities.”] Gathered for the April 16 presentation were, from left, front row, Mariah Hantz, Levi Cvikel, Closing Coordinator Sabrina Brown, Kennedy Brigle, Abby Hill, Meredith LaDuke and back row, Nancy Johnson, Director, Cancer Assistance of Williams County; Eugene Dargitz, Edon resident who spoke of his support from Cancer Assistance; Director Becky Fisk, Chelsey Handy, Elissa Hinkle, Mihkaya Best, Kaylyn Brigle, Ciera Mocherman, Desiree Howard and Event Coordinator David Headley; assisting the committee were Advisors Pam Rupp and Annette Peckham. Families facing financial challenges (insurance co-payments, mileage, prescriptions, etc.) while dealing with a cancer diagnosis are encouraged to contact Cancer Assistance of Williams County at 419-636-0079 with any questions or concerns.[/emember_protected]
