WAUSEON – Gunning for a BBC crown, the Pettisville Lady Blackbirds were not about to allow the Fayette Lady Eagles to get in their way. Delaney Nofziger allowed a run on a Megan Stannard hit, fanning 7 for the 12-5 / 8-2 Ladybirds.
Amber Klopfenstein had a single and a double, Olivia Wright had a double, and Nofziger, Hannah Hoops, Kaija Blosser and Mallory Riegsecker each had a single.

Fayette’s Lea Bussing was given a less than royal reception in the circle, as she was tagged with 6 runs on three walks before registering an out. Taylor Hartman finished the game for Fayette.
