Wauseon Man Sentenced On Drug And Firearm Charges

A Wauseon man was sentenced on May 30, 2018, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.

Paul Bongiorno, III, 32, of 111 Hill Avenue, pleaded guilty to Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle and Aggravated Possession of Drugs, On August 24, 2017, he transported a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle while it was accessible to him without leaving the vehicle. On September 14, 2017, he possessed Methamphetamines.

Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Bongiorno to 14 months in prison for Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, and sentenced to 10 months in prison for Aggravated Possession of Drugs. Said sentences to be served consecutively, for a total 24 months In prison.
