DEFIANCE – The Golden Bears got a complete game shutout on the mound by Landon Bassett and Cole Uran delivered a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to give Bryan a 1-0 win.
Bassett surrendered just five hits in his seven innings of work with four strikeouts.
Bryan will face Defiance tonight in the winner’s bracket final of the ACME District 1 district tournament at 7pm following an elimination game between Fairview and Edgerton at 5pm.

Tyler Frederick singled twice and knocked in two runs to pace Defiance while Edgerton was led by two singles from Corey Herman.

ARCHBOLD – The Titans blew the game open with 10 runs in the sixth inning on their way to a 12-3 win in a semifinal of the ACME District 2 district tournament.
Cade Miller singled four times in four at-bats for Archbold in the loss. Archbold will take on Kalida in an elimination game at 5:30 p.m.
