Alice Mable Graham, 85, of Pioneer died Monday November 26th in her home. She was born on April 8, 1927 in Galloway West Virginia to John Martin and Mabel (Wieland) Belan. Alice married James Everett Graham on June 28, 1947 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1997.
Alice attended Lakeview United Brethren Church of Camden Michigan. She was very active in church and at one time she taught Sunday school at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Walled Lake Michigan.
Alice was a homemaker her whole life, she truly enjoyed being a mom. She was a former member of the Pioneer American Legion. Alice enjoyed playing baseball with her children, and during her spare time could be found knitting and crocheting.
Alice is survived by three sons James M. Graham and David J. Graham both of Darien, Georgia, Benjamin R.F. Graham of Toledo Ohio, two daughters Bonnie L. (Doug) Miller of Darien Georgia and Vicki L. (Fred) Parmer Jr. of Pioneer Ohio. One sister Margaret Bloom of Orange California, nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, brother John and four sisters Charlotte, Rose, Sadie and Anna (infant).
Visitation hours for Alice will be Friday November 30th from 2-4pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Services will be at 4pm Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Smith to officiate.
