Lenore Irene Yoh, 84, of West Unity died Monday November 26, 2012 at Hillside Country Living. She was born on February 14th 1928 in Madison Township near Kunkle, Ohio to Samuel Christian & Ethel Mae (Barrett) Zehr. Lenore attended Kunkle High School and graduated in 1946. She married V. Floyd Yoh on March 15th 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1981.
Lenore’s number one priority was providing for her family and being there for her husband and children. She did drive School Buses for Hilltop Schools for 21 years and was a custodian for 10 years. Lenore was a charter member of the Williams County Saddle Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Donald D. Zehr, and one son Richard “Dick” Yoh.
She is survived by two daughters Patricia & Peter Weber of West Unity, Melony & Dennis Mercer of Alvordton, one son Michael Yoh of Garden City, MI, one daughter-in-law Patsy Yoh of Alvordton Ohio. Four grandsons Greg (Angie) Weber of Lewis Center, Ohio, Sam Yoh of West Unity, Logan Mercer of Alvordton, Ryan Yoh (Fiancé Heather Thomas) of Wayne, MI, eight granddaughters, Michelle (Tom) Griffith of Lebanon, Ohio, Alexandra (John) Balzer of Atlanta, GA, Theresa (Mike) Hand of Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer Yoh of West Unity, Melissa Yoh of Columbus OH, Emily (Josh) Rodriguez of Alvordton, Ohio, Lauren (Ben) Montague of West Unity, Misty (Damian) Croteau of Garden City MI and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation hours for Lenore will be on Thursday November 29 from 4-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will be on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with Reverend Nick Woodall to officiate. Interment will be at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.
