Lisa-Birch-WEBAngola, Ind. – It is with pleasure that Cameron Memorial Community Hospital (CMCH) announces the appointment Lisa Birch as the Director of the Medical Surgical/Advanced Care units. Birch began her new role on November 29, 2015.

Birch brings a variety of experience to the director role. She joined Cameron in 2010 as a part time Medical Surgical nurse. Since then she has worked as a staff nurse in the emergency department (ED), a charge nurse in Medical Surgical and as a relief house supervisor. She previously worked on the Medical Surgical floor at Dupont Hosptial and Parkview Randalia, and worked several years at the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center before joining the Cameron team.

Birch graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne School of Nursing. Her new responsibilities will include leading nursing for the Medical Surgical and Advanced Care units.

“We are so happy to have Lisa join the Cameron leadership team,” said Connie McCahill, President and CEO. “We have so many talented individuals with a wealth of knowledge working at Cameron, and Lisa is an excellent example of that. She will excel in her new role.”
