JERRY LUCE AWARD … Jeff Bowling (second right) of Edon was the recipient of the Jerry Luce Award in honor of the late community member whose life was cut short in a tragic accident during halftime of the Edon-Montpelier boys basketball game on Friday, February 13. The award is presented to an individual who exhibits the same commitment in service and loyalty to the Edon area. Bowling serves as the director of the Edon Food Pantry, Chairman of the Parish Council of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Blakeslee, and a member of the Edon Area Foundation. The award has been presented since 1994. Presenting the award to Bowling are from left, Jo Ann Luce, wife of Jerry Luce; his daughter Jennifer Maier; and his son, Allyn Luce.
