This Sunday, January 19, 2025 is the Ohio Music Education Association District 1 Honors Festival at the Stranahan Theater and Great Hall.
The festival will feature both Junior High and High School Honors Bands, Choirs, & Orchestras. Ensembles are made up of students from nearly 70 schools across Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Wood, and Williams counties in Northwest Ohio.
Guest conductors include: Mr. Patrick Barrett & Mr. Bill Bitter (orchestra), Dr. Pam Klena and Dr. William Talley (band) and Ms. Jennifer Call and Mr. Devon Steve (choir).
The Junior High Concert begins at 2:30 pm, and the High School Concert is at 7:00 pm. Both concerts are completely free and open to the public.
