ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Bria Friend (Montpelier)

The female Athlete of the Week is Montpelier sprinter Bria Friend. Friend was BBC champion in the 100 and 200 meter dash, was district champ in the 100, and was a member of the Montpelier 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams that qualified for state.
