The male Athlete of the Week is Archbold baseball player DJ Newman. In a 13-0 win over Bryan on May 2nd, Newman tossed a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts and went 2-3 at the plate with three RBIs. Newman followed that effort with a 3-4 game and four RBIs in a 14-1 win at Hilltop later in the week.
