MONTPELIER – Fayette jumped out to a 26-12 halftime lead enroute to a 58-37 non-conference victory over winless Montpelier.
Addison Schang led a balanced scoring effort for Fayette (4-1) with 17 points while Kennedy Kunkle added 11 points, and Kelsie Storrs tallied nine points. The Eagles were 8 of 15 from the free throw line.
Zoe Uribes topped Montpelier (0-4) with 13 points and Stefanie Wade contributed seven points. The Locos were 7 of 19 from the stripe.
