MONTPELIER – Edon outscored Montpelier in every quarter as the Bombers claimed a 58-37 victory in the Buckeye Border Conference opener for both squads at “The Railyard”.
Edon (5-1, 1-0 BBC) jumped out to a 14-6 first quarter lead and pushed it to 27-15 at halftime.
Adison Briner poured in 25 points, including 7 of 10 from the charity stripe leading the Bombers while Neveah Smith added 15 points. Edon was 13 of 20 from the foul line.
Zoe Uribes tallied 11 points to lead Montpelier (0-6, 0-1 BBC) and Morgan Bechtol added nine points. The Locos were 3 of 7 from the stripe.
