All the practices, all the aches and pains, and all the injuries just to excel at athletics…welcome to high school sports. For a select group however, being the best in their particular sport is not enough…they want excellence in the classroom as well. Those who achieve both in the Buckeye Border Conference are called BBC Scholar Athletes, and there are 104 of them for the Fall 2012 season.
A BBC Scholar Athlete must maintain a 3.25 GPA, be a junior or a senior, and carry the recommendation of their coach.
