“Beauty And The Beast; The Broadway Musical” Takes The Stage In Edon

The students of Edon really put on a show this weekend, as Kendall Siebenaler and Peyton Robinett starred as Belle and Beast in Edon’s rendition of Beauty and the Beast; The Broadway Musical.

Walking everyone through an entertaining spin on a beloved classic, the stage opened to the song of “Belle,” followed by many other favorites from the movie.

The musical was split into two parts, with a 15-minute intermission between the acts. Directed by Maryellen Bliss and Elaine Schaffter, Hope Siebenaler (Mrs. Potts), Carter Steinke (Cogsworth), Devin Hoffman (Lumiere), Zander Kurtz (Gaston), Ashton Oberlin (Lefou), Anne Hug (Madame De La Grande Bouche), Jaycea Craven (Babbette), Briggs Gallehue (Maurice), Westen Hickman (Prince), Emma Trent, Kally Randall, Loralai Hawkins, Grayson Whitney (Chip), Megan Matthews, Martin Gonzalez Ariza, Lloa Mountz, Breman Duvendack-Hickman, Grant Reed, and Eli Snyder composed the cast.


Becca Waters, Logan Dulle, Leyla Avla-Garcia, Abbie Waters, Bailey Harding, Lydia Mountz, Samantha Hake, Kara Frastaci, and Joshua Frastaci made up the ensemble, with Laura Zumbaugh, Lori Schulte, Nancy Gallehue, Ramon Kulwicki, Rachel Krueger, Ryan Knight, Cindy Higginbotham, BJ Bany, Steve Alspaugh, Abbey Kramer, Kim Hickman, and Director Jim Gallehue in the orchestra pit.

Alyssa Adams was proud to be the student director for this year’s show, with the production cast being as follows: Cayden Thiel, Mia Hawkins, Jaron Grove, Jeff Frastaci, Addi Snyder, Reagan Tracey, Lexie Hay, Grant Reed, Alyssa Adams, Rylee Randall, Mikayla Miller, Alex Ogden, Riley Hay, Lillian Stafford, Isaiah Green, Jeff and Cathy Frastaci, David and Tanya Loughborough, Elaine Schaffter, Josh Siebenaler, Justin Siebenaler, Maryellen Bliss, Aaron and Hollie Hake, Jason Robinett, Kim Maag, Joe Snyder, Jeff and Misty Pease, Ashlee Camper, Heather Sheline, Art Classes, High School Choir, FFA classes, Lillian Stafford, Lloa Mountz, Kally Randall, Mikayla Miller, Westen Hickman, Zander Kurtz, Abbie Waters, Becca Waters, Martin Gonzalez Ariza, Hope Siebenaler, Kendall Siebenaler, Alyssa Adams, Peyton Robinett, Eli Snyder, Samantha Hake, Bailey Harding, Rylee Randall, Riley Hay, Lexie Hay, Trent Buck, Alex Ogden, Isaiah Green, Hudson Maag, Charlotte Maag, Joshua Frastaci, Kim Maag, Abigail Ximines, Tami Hawkins, Kim Sullivan, Ashley Oberlin, Tasha Grove, Ashlee Camper, Kris Dulle, Kim Sullivan, Ashlee Camper, Chandra Lyman, Children’s Theater Workshop, Trina Friedberg, Betsy Hug, Chandra Lyman, Betsy Hug, Jamie Hoffman, and Kaysie Nester.

All of their hard work was noticed as the community enjoyed the show, watching as the students of Edon tell “a tale as old as time,” right here in Williams County Ohio.
