Betty M. Ruhl, 89 years, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, Montpelier. Betty was born November 9, 1926 in Defiance, the daughter of the late Oris and Della (Pearson) Chrisman. She was a 1944 graduate of Farmer High School. She married Dennis Ruhl on April 5, 1947 in Farmer, and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2010.
Betty was a devoted wife and mother, who took pride in caring from her family. She was a member of the former Farmer Church of Christ. Betty enjoyed sewing, camping, and traveling.
Surviving are her two children, Pamela (Tim McMillion) Underwood of Stryker, Ohio, and Bruce D. Ruhl of Beaufort, South Carolina; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation and service will be private. Interment took place in Farmer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan.
