Beverly J. Houser, age 73, of Swanton, passed away unexpectedly at the Fulton County Health Center on Monday morning, November 4, 2024.
She was born to the late Daniel and Evelyn (Pooley) Evans on December 16, 1950 in Akron, Ohio. Beverly graduated from Kenmore High School in Akron and on February 25, 1975, married Robert Houser and together they had three children, Sherry, Michael and Adam.
Beverly would work as a store clerk, factory worker with Parker Company for five years and most recently for fifteen years, as a truck driver with her husband. Together they created great memories with each journey while traveling across the country.
She enjoyed games such as sudoku and several card games including rummy, hand and foot and euchre. Beverly also cherished her afternoon soap operas and cheering on her beloved Cleveland Browns.
Beverly is survived by her children; Sherry (Russ) Pitchford of Morenci, Michael Houser of Akron; grandchildren, Abigail Duncan, Lesley Zimmerman, Elizabeth Zimmerman, Matt (Mary) Houser and Michael (Katarina) Houser Jr.; many loving great grandchildren and brother, Daniel (Alana) Evans.
Along with her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Adam Houser and brothers, George, Jim and Richard Evans.
A celebration of life service will be announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.
