The Blakeslee Village Council meeting of February 20 began with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by roll call. All six council members, Cody Reynolds, Robert Mohre, Rosemary Alexander Thiel, Cletus Radabaugh and Nick Reed, were present.

First, council approved of the minutes of the January 23 meeting. Fiscal officer Beth Rediger reported that revenue received was $2,300 and expenses were $1,700.

Mayor Linda Muehlfeld reported that the Archbold Refuse Service has scheduled big trash pickup for April 30th. Muehlfeld stated that she will place a notice about it at the post office.

Rediger reported that she had received 34 of the 52 payments that are due for trash and recycling. Those who have yet to pay will be sent a fiscal notice letter that $185 is due by March 31.

Rediger also stated that she will have to order new village checks and deposit books, because State Bank has a new routing number that is different than the old Edon State Bank.

It was noted that Patrick Manahan has been doing a good job with the snow removal. The council then voted unanimously to adjourn.
