BLAKESLEE VILLAGE COUNCIL: Two Vacant Council Seats To Fill In January

The Blakeslee Village Council meeting of December 19 began with the Pledge of Allegiance. That was followed by roll call. Blakeslee Village Council members Cletus Radabaugh, Robert Mohre, Eric Jenkins, Cody Reynolds and Rosemary Thiel, were present. Nick Reed was absent.

Blakeslee Village Council then approved the minutes of the September 19 meeting. Next, the village council approved the minutes of the November 14 meeting.

That was followed by village council approving the 2022 liability insurance renewal. The village then paid $4,238 that was owed to the Andres and O’Neil insurance Agency. Blakeslee Village Council then passed the 2022 annual appropriations budget of $38,845.

Mayor Linda Muehlfeld then reported that there will be two vacant council seats, currently filled by Jenkins and Mohre, will need to be filled in January. Muehlfeld will appoint those seats at that time.


Muehlfeld thanked county engineer Todd Roth for fixing the Blakeslee Village sign and for Christmas decorations. In addition, Muehlfeld thanked Wal-Mart, for donating Christmas lights to Blakeslee Village.

A motion was then made to adjourn and was approved by all five village council members who were present.
