September 4th-PIONEER: With Edon coming to town, North Central knew they had a tough match on their hands. Still, the Bombers were able to come into their home court, and leave with a BBC Victory.
Edon got off to a great start, winning the first set 25-10. The Lady Eagles improved their play in game 2, but couldn’t best the Bombers, dropping the set 16-25. The girls of North Central stepped up even more in the third set, but game 3 belonged to the Bombers, with the road team taking the set 25-19.
In the loss, Rachel Oxender got things going for her team, making 12 assists. Alyssa Swank added 7 kills for North Central, while Abby Auch led the team in passes and serves with 11 and 6, respectively.
