The Delta Panthers in Division III at Versailles High School brought home a team state dual meet title.

In round two they would come up against Applecreek Waynedale and it was a tight matchup but the quartet of Mattin, Tyler Barnes, Connor Sintobin and Cass Chiesa would lead the way for the Panthers 33-25 win

In the finals it would come down to Delta versus Barnesville and the Panthers would win the first five weight classes before Barnesville responded by winning the next six.

Sintobin would major decision his opponent to tie the meet at 33-33 as it all came down to the heavyweight bout.

Sophomore heavyweight Brady Smith would need a victory to secure Delta another state crown. Smith would garner a pin at 0:59 to give Delta a 39-33 win and a Division III State Dual title.

In Division II, the Wauseon Indians travelled to New Lexington, Ohio where they would first match up with Steubenville and handled that match 45-21.

The Indians would then run up against top seeded Medina Buckeye, a team with a lineup full of state ranked wrestlers and the match would go back and forth.

Buckeye would pull away though and knock off the Indians 43-27 to drop the Indians to the third-place match against Dayton Carrollton.

The Indians would string together wins in seven straight matches, all by pin, to defeat Carrollton 52-27 to take the third spot in Division III.
