(January 26th, 2015) – WAUSEON: Wauseon’s bowling squad began the week with a victory for the boy’s and a close loss for the girl’s. Wauseon, hoping to re-enact their victory against Delta just days earlier, fought a tough battle against Patrick Henry.

The growing hype from the Patriots were no match for the unbreakable focus of the boys of Wauseon. This was evident during the baker game, when PH’s four bagger tantalized the Indians, who kept their cool and followed through with each shot. Nic Kearny led the boys with a series score of 490, with Peyten Shadbolt following close behind with a series 467. This led to a victory of 2512-2248 against the Patriots.

Unfortunately, Wauseon’s girls fell short in their attempt to take the victory with the boys. Jenna Simon amounted 187 points, with teammate Aleea Volkman accounting for 173. The team’s efforts resulted in a final score of 1852-1988.
