MANS BEST FRIEND … Emily Johnson (owner of salon) brushes, Tatum (her cocker spaniel) on her grooming table

Emily Johnson is the proud owner of Fayette’s newest business. The Adorable Dog Salon recently opened and is seeking new customers. Emily offers grooms, which include a haircut, bath, nail trim, and ear and gland cleaning (not to mention the playdate your dog gets with all of Emily’s other customers as well as her own dogs).

Adorable Dog Salon is open Monday afternoons, Tuesday and Thursday during the day, and every other Saturday. Groomings are done by appointment, but if you just need a nail trimming of something little, just call ahead and make sure Emily is there.

The salon is open to all breeds of all shapes and sizes, but is only for dogs (this means no turtles, goldfish, or iguanas). Emily uses all natural, Ez Groom products that work well even on dogs with sensitive skin. “I use these on my own dogs,” said Emily who owns a cocker spaniel named Tatum and two Papillons, Sophie and Zayan. “I’ve used them for all of my clients for a long time and I’ve never seen a negative reaction.”

Emily has been providing basic care, grooming, and even training dogs since she was 15. She has gone to school for grooming as well which requires 750 hours of grooming under an instructor, so she’s had plenty of practice. Emily has over four years of professional grooming experience so, even though her business is new, Emily is an experienced groomer.

If you’d like to schedule a grooming, just give Emily Johnson a call at (419) 388-6955. The Adorable Dog Salon is located just outside of Fayette, at 301 West Industrial Parkway. So, what do you have to lose, give Emily a call and take the short trip out to the Adorable Dog Salon, your furry friend will certainly love you for it.
