The Bryan Main Library Children’s Department invites kids and parents to a holly jolly “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday, December 03 from 8:30 to 10:00 am. Doors open at 8:15 am. Children will get to meet Santa, tell him their Christmas wishes, and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The morning will also include a hot cocoa bar, and other activities. Santa will be available for pictures after breakfast. Make sure to wear your jammies, as you celebrate the joy of Christmas at the library! There is no charge for this event, but you must register at the Children’s Dept. circulation desk.

The Bryan Main Library will be hosting a Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop in the Children’s Department on Monday, December 05 from 6:30 to 7:45 pm. Take part in the Gingerbread Friends Workshop and pick 1 out of 4 characters to build from the popular children’s book “Gingerbread Friends” by Jan Brett. All orders must be placed by Nov. 21st at the Children’s Department and a $10.00 fee, to cover the cost of your stuffed animal, must be paid at sign up. This is the perfect Christmas gift for your child or significant other!

Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop is a mobile stuffed animal workshop, where participants bring their very own stuffed animal to life. During the stuffed animal workshop, attendants hand-stuff their own plush pal!! And because animal creation is done together, it’s the ultimate group party fun! If you are unable to attend the December 05 event, arrangements can be made for you to build your character at a more convenient time.

Use the force at the Bryan Main Library’s Star Wars Jedi Adventures! This teen night program, for ages 10 to 15, will be held on Friday, December 16th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Master the ways of the force, hone your jedi skills and rise up against the evil Empire! Do. Or do not. There is no try. Movie passes will be given away to the winners of the challenges!

This program is free to the public. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The library will not be able to take phone calls during the program. All parental arrangements should be made prior to the event. Sign up at the Bryan Main Library or call the Adult Desk at 419-636-6734 ext. 221.

The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street. For more information, please call Vickie Zippay at 419-636-6734 ext. 243.
