Bryan High School Celebrates 2025 Homecoming Court

Bryan High School celebrated its 2025 homecoming on Friday, October 3, with the presentation of the court leading up to the football game between the Golden Bears and the Swanton Bulldogs.

The Freshman Attendant was Allie Jo Elkins. She is the daughter of Michelle and Michael Elkins.

She is an outgoing student involved in soccer, golf, basketball, and softball. She is involved in various activities at her church, FCA, and babysits. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and practicing the sports she is involved in, especially basketball and golf.


When asked if she could be any animal, she said it would be a giraffe because she could be tall. Her favorite part of homecoming week is the dress-up days.

The Freshman Escort was Logan Slattery. He is the son of Kimberly and Jason Slattery. He is involved in the swim team, and outside of school, he’s involved in various activities at his church. In his free time, he enjoys swimming and hanging out with friends.

When asked if he could be any animal, he would be a dog because they get to live with people. His favorite part of homecoming week is the school spirit we show here at BHS because everyone is buzzing with excitement for the events ahead.

Next is the Sophomore Attendant, Kori Pinkerton. She is the daughter of Dove Caswell and Junior Pinkerton.

She is an outgoing student who participates in choir and soccer. In her free time, she enjoys singing, being active, writing, and overall being creative.

When asked if she could be any animal, she would be a crocodile, because just like reptiles, she can be somewhat mean and fierce when she needs to be. Her favorite part of homecoming week is dressing up.

The Sophomore Escort was Hunter Smith. He is the son of Natalie and Alex Smith. He participates in soccer, sets up soccer fields, occasionally refs soccer games, and is involved in his church. In his free time, he enjoys art and works at Eric’s Ice Cream Factory.

When asked if he could be any animal, it would be a fish because he likes to swim. His favorite part of homecoming week is the football game, which is his favorite event.

The Junior Homecoming Attendant was Eleanor Huard. She is the daughter of Matt and Nikki Huard. She participates in dance and does ballet, jazz, lyrical, and pointe. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, taking naps, and doing art.

When asked what animal she would be, she said she would want to be a cat because cats also love to nap and eat. Her favorite part of homecoming week is the football game and the homecoming assembly that happened earlier in the afternoon.

The Junior Escort was Eric Koenig. He is the son of Michael and Tracey Koenig. He plays soccer and basketball and is involved in his youth group at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, FCA, National Honor Society, and the Awakening Community. He enjoys hanging out with friends and going golfing.

When asked what animal he would be, he chose an otter because they are incredibly social and enthusiastic. His favorite part of homecoming week is game night because he enjoys seeing the whole community coming together to celebrate homecoming.

This year’s senior attendant was Josey Arnold. She is the daughter of Brian and Jodi Arnold. She is involved in golf, soccer, basketball, softball, student council, FCA, and Interact.

Outside of school, she participates in the youth group at New Hope Community Church and Awakening. In her free time, she enjoys attending youth group, practicing and playing sports, hanging out with friends, playing games with her family, and building Legos.

After high school, she plans to attend college for an undecided major.

When asked what animal she would be, she said it would be a bird so she can fly and migrate south for the winter. Her favorite part of homecoming week is performing in the lip sync competition at the homecoming assembly.

This year’s senior escort was Jack Kennedy. He is the son of Larry and Tracey Kennedy. He is involved in soccer, basketball, track, National Honor Society, and FCA.

Outside of high school, he participates in the youth group at New Hope Community Church and helps with soccer and basketball camps for kids. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, fishing, and frisbee golfing.

He plans to attend Ohio State University to major in psychology.

When asked what animal he would be, he would be a koala because they seemed stress-free. His favorite part of homecoming is the homecoming assembly and the football game.

This year’s 2025 Bryan High School Homecoming Queen was Nora Kunsman. She is the daughter of Meg and Jason Kunsman. She is involved in swim, volleyball, dance, Interact Club, FCA, and Spanish Club. She is also president of the National Honor Society and the senior class.

She is also involved in the St. Patrick Catholic Church and Lifewise. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time hiking, skiing, and camping.

After graduation, she plans to attend Ohio University as a part of their women’s swim team and major in business marketing.

When asked if she could be any animal, she said it would be a panda because they are soft and cute. Her favorite part of homecoming week is watching lip sync and seeing all of the hard work put into the homecoming assembly.

Her escort was senior Cooper Beltran. He is the son of Sarah Paige and Clayt Beltran. He is involved in golf, basketball, track and field, student council, National Honor Society, and FCA.

In the community, he is involved in a youth group on Wednesday nights and attends church at New Hope Community Church. He volunteers in numerous activities and participates in the workforce development program.

In his spare time, he likes to play video games, watch sports, spend time with family and friends, and most importantly, stay #BryanBuilt.

When asked if he could be any animal, he said he would be a goat on a farm because they can eat whatever they want and have no worries in life. His future plans are to attend college and major in elementary education.
