PRESS RELEASE / THE VILLAGE REPORTER
LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER … The guest speaker at the Kiwanis meeting on October 29, 2025, was Chrissie Batt, the owner and founder of Studio 34 Photography in Edgerton, Ohio. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to purchase a two story building in the heart of downtown Edgerton that had previously been a photography studio. She transformed the space into her own vision for a photography studio and office space. Mrs. Batt opened her business five years ago after completing a degree in Visual Communications at Indiana Purdue University. Initially she worked with area schools doing their sports, homecoming, prom and class photos. She now specializes in capturing timeless memories for High School Seniors with artistry and expertise. She is also working on a project called “Women Over Forty” that seeks to capture the essence of women in that age cohort. The women come to the studio with outfits that they believe reflect their personalities. They then have their hair and make up professionally done. Mrs. Batt than takes the portraits to capture and celebrate the women. This program has been very well received. Pictured left to right are Chrissie Batt and Kiwanian and program host Cheryl Chapman.
