A Bryan man is dead after a two-vehicle crash claimed his life Monday evening.

Michael Thomason, 40, Bryan, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was taken to ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Also transported to the hospital was the driver of the vehicle Thomason was riding in, Amanda Carner, 38, Bryan, a female juvenile passenger of the same vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, Kevin Keller, 62, Defiance.

A Henry County Sheriff Deputy reported that Keller was going northbound on County Road 24 in Ridgeville Township when he failed to stop at a stop sign at US 6 and County Rd 24.  Keller’s vehicle struck the passenger side of Carner’s vehicle, which was heading eastbound on US 6.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Carner was treated and released.  The juvenile passenger was transferred to Toledo Children’s Hospital.  Keller was transferred to Toledo Hospital. His condition is unknown.

Archbold Rescue, Napoleon Rescue and Ridgeville Fire and Rescue were all on scene. The crash is under investigation.
