Update from BMU as of Wednesday March 22, 2023 at 6:30am

Bryan Municipal Utilities water emergency continues. Our employees have worked diligently through the night and continue to do so now making the necessary repairs at the Bryan water treatment plant.

BMU towers have reached critically low levels. Any usage will depressurize the water distribution system.

Please note this emergency has nothing to do with contamination or a threat of contamination.

We appreciate the community’s understanding as we work through this water emergency and will continue to provide updates as we can.

Bryan Municipal Utilities has secured some bottled water for our water customers, with more being delivered throughout the day.

Water customers may start picking up bottled water at the Bryan Fire Department located at 304 West High Street at 8:00 am until 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Please enter through the back parking lot and bring proof of residency. If you are home-bound and need water delivery, please call 419-630-6100 and we will assist as quickly as possible.

Due to a water level emergency at the water treatment plant, residents of the City of Bryan are being asked to stop using water immediately.

Updates will be provided when available.
