(September 15th, 2014)-WEST UNITY: Taking on the Vikings of Evergreen, the junior varsity girls of Hilltop found themselves outmatched on their home court. As such, they lost the match in straight sets. Still, they were able to mount a rally and almost force their way back into the game.
Game 1 saw the Lady Cadets get off to a slow start. They lost the set to Evergreen 11-25. Hilltop rebounded in the second set, giving the Vikings all they could handle. The Cadets couldn’t pull off the comeback, however, losing the game by the narrowest of margins, 23-25.
