Carl Ralph Gasche, age 79, of Delta, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, February 19, 2014. He was born on March 12, 1934 in Wauseon to the late Carl H. Gasche and Floy (McNall) Gasche. Ralph was a graduate of Pettisville High School and later attended The Ohio State University. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Ralph was a salesman for various companies before retiring, including West Bend Cooking Products. He was an active member of the “Circle of Friends” music group at the Delta Church of Christ, the Delta Community Band, Delta American Legion and Wauseon Masonic Lodge #349; where he served as a Past Master. He also enjoyed antiquing, camping, collecting memorabilia and old cars; but his fondest hobby was traveling with his wife, Faye. Together they visited many sites, with the most memorable being the UP of Michigan, Bay View and various county fairs. Ralph has now been reunited with his wife, Faye; his parents, Carl and Floy; daughters, Beth and Robynn and grandsons, Robbie, Josh and Brett; sister, Millie Sickmiller and brother-in-law, Daniel StClair. Left to cherish his memories are children, Kent (Koran) Gasche of Delta and Julie (Larry Neipp) Baker of Wauseon; brother, John (Dori) Gasche; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends are invited to a public reception celebrating Ralph’s life at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Delta American Legion, 5939 St Hwy 109 in Delta. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made to the Fulton County Senior Center 240 Clinton St., Wauseon, Ohio 43567 in his memory.
