(Worked In Mailroom At Bryan Times)

Carolyn J. Clark, age 85, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Park View Care Center in Edgerton.

Carol worked in the mail room at the Bryan Times for 18 years and was a homemaker during the time her sons were at home.

She enjoyed watching “Homestead Rescue”, crocheting, cheering on her favorite NASCAR driver, Martin Truex, and working crossword and word search puzzles while sitting on her porch with her dogs. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake- always going all out for the holidays.

Carolyn was born on July 17, 1938 in Nobob, Kentucky, the daughter of Arthur C. and Christal “Judy” L. (Claywell) Bellamy. She married Earl “E.R.” Clark on January 15, 1960 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2001.

Carol is survived by her sons, Dan (Vicki) Clark, of Edgerton, David Clark and his significant other, Diane Ferguson, of Montpelier and Michael Clark, of Bryan; 3 grandchildren, Kylei (David) McCauley, of Florence, Kentucky, Tyler (Emily) Clark, of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Brooke Clark, of Charleston, South Carolina; 5 great grandchildren, Jamie, Eli, Arson and Lillian McCauley and Ellie Ray Clark; half-sister, Billie May (James) Tabor, of Franklin, Kentucky; step sister, Martha Crow, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Doris Nagle, Donna McCool, Deloris Cook, Joan Clark and Linda Cooper; special friend, Joyce Weldon; several nieces and nephews with a special thanks to Tom and Kris Bellamy and her beloved dogs, Lucy and Sissy.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Arthur & Billie Bellamy; mother and stepfather, Christal “Judy” and Robert “Red” Letham; husband, E.R. Clark; sisters, Margie (Roy) Mills, Phyllis (Al) McConnell; brother, Jerry Bellamy and grandson, Arron David Clark.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Nick Woodall officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio.

The family requests memorial donations be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Williams County Humane Society.
