A Winter Market was held in Fayette this past weekend with numerous vendors being present.
The event began on Saturday, December 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Opera House and The Stable.
A business walk-up took place at the same time, with a market card being available at each location.
Visitors were able to stop by any vendor location. At each additional location they went to, a stamp would be placed on their card that could be turned in to enter into a drawing for a gift. Santa Claus himself was also onsite during the festivities.
Santa set up shop on the green with hot chocolate, s’mores, and goodie bags, with a live nativity and carolers being present as well.
At 6:00 p.m. it was time for the parade to shine, with everything starting at the Sunoco gas station.
From there, the route took them through town where it ended on Walnut Street. Altogether, it was a good fun night for the residents of Fayette.
