Clarence H. WuebbenClarence H. Wuebben, age 93, of Edon, Ohio, died at 7:05 A.M. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Commuity Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan, where he was a patient. Mr. Wuebben was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He was employed by the Edon Farmers Co-op in the Feed Mill and Seed Plant for many years retiring with more than twenty-five years of service. He was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, of which he was a 3rd degree life member of Blakeslee Council #3883 and then transferred his membership to Edgerton Council #1492.

Clarence H. Wuebben was born on June 18, 1922, in St. Helena, Nebraska, the son of Bernard and Josephine (Weber) Wuebben. He married Erma Held on November 3, 1956, in Blakeslee, Ohio,and she preceded him in death on April 4, 1982. He then married Rita A. (Cape) Blue on May 6, 1989, in Edgerton and she survives.

Survivors also include his children, James (Becky) Wuebben, of Edon, Elaine (Dennis) Pauken, of Portage, Ohio, Donald (Penny) Wuebben, of San Antonio, Texas, Teresa (Gary) Brown, of Bryan,and Allen (Sheila) Wuebben, of Kettering, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, Amy, Hannah and Andrew Wuebben, Josh and Erika Foxhuber, Grant and Kelsee Wuebben, Emilee Guidorzi, Nathan and Alexa Brown, Madison, Mackenzie and Makalya Wuebben; one great-grandchild, Laban Hernandez; his stepchildren, Scott (Barb) Blue, of Edgerton, Susan (Gene) Valavich, of Bluffton, Indiana, Terry Blue, of Edgerton, and Steve Blue, of Hicksville, Ohio; two brothers, Jerry Wuebben, of Gayville, South Dakota, and Fran Wuebben, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and four sisters, Helen Carlson, of Wausa, Nebraska, Rosann Kleinschmidt, also of Wausa, Loretta Leise, of Littleton, Colorado, and Clara Dodson, of Collinsville, Oklahoma. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerome, two sisters, Hilaria Guenther and Leona Wuebben; and one granddaughter, Elisa Wuebben.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, followed by recitation of the rosary at 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton with Father Daniel Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, near Blakeslee. Grave side military rites will be conducted by the Edon American Legion and the United States Army Honor Guard.
