Defiance County Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray has announced the release of the following information regarding certain pending Criminal matters:

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS WERE BROUGHT BEFORE THE DEFIANCE COUNTY COMMON PLEAS COURT FOR ARRAIGNMENT ON FELONY MATTERS:

Bernard M. Bates-age 83-Not Guilty pleas, OR bond, pre-trial 9/25/24 @ 9:45 a.m.

Sarah E. Jackson-age 43-Not Guilty plea, OR bond, pre-trial 9/26/24 @ 9:15 a.m.


Megan M. Weldon-age 33-Not Guilty plea, OR bond, pre-trial 9/30/24 @ 9 a.m.

Adalberto Vega Jr.-age 43-Not Guilty pleas, $100,000 cash bond w/10% allowed, No Contact Order & TPO, GPS Monitor, pre-trial 9/24/24 @ 10:15 a.m.

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS HAVE RECENTLY ENTERED GUILTY OR NO CONTEST PLEAS IN THE DEFIANCE COUNTY COMMON PLEAS COURT:


Craig M. Koch-age 51-Guilty pleas to Two Counts of Non-Support of Dependents-F5’s, PSI ordered, sentencing 10/22/24 @ 10:30 a.m.

Craig M. Koch-age 51-Guilty plea to Failure to Appear as Required by Recognizance-F4, PSI ordered, sentencing 10/22/24 @ 10:30 a.m.

Austin M. Brooks-age 29-Guilty plea to Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer-F3, PSI ordered, sentencing 10/21/24 @ 2 p.m.

Jacob M. Frericks-age 33–No Contest plea to Domestic Violence-F4, found Guilty, PSI ordered, sentencing 10/30/24 @ 10:30 a.m.


Michael L. Forwerck-age 52–Guilty pleas to Attempted Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity-F3 and Theft-F5, PSI ordered, sentencing 10/24/24 @ 10:30 a.m.

Correy L. Williams Jr.-age 22-Guilty pleas to Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer-F3, Domestic Violence-F4 and Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Drug of Abuse or a Combination of Them-M1, PSI ordered, sentencing 10/3/24 @ 10:30 a.m.

Nicholas G. Gebers-age 18-Guilty plea to Pandering Sexually-Oriented Mater Involving a Minor or Impaired Person-F2, PSI ordered, sentencing 11/4/24 @ 10:30 a.m.

Nicholas G. Gebers-age 18-Guilty plea to Interference with Custody-F5, PSI ordered, sentencing 11/4/24 @ 10:30 a.m.
