
The Delta FFA traveled to the Fulton County Fairgrounds on March 3 to compete in the District 1 Wildlife Career Development Event (CDE). After the competition, Delta placed second in the district and third in the invitational.
The Career Development Event is designed to stimulate interest and promote instruction in the areas of fish and wildlife management, as well as to provide recognition for those who have demonstrated skills and competencies as a result of natural resources instruction.
The competitors were Hunter Elton (13th in district and 15th in invitational), Archer Andrews (16th in district and 18th in invitational), Jensyn Gillen (35th in district and 46th in invitational), Clarence Taft (44th in district and 59th in invitational), Braxton Pennington (55th in district and 73rd in invitational), Jordinn Heinemann (78th in district and 102nd in invitational), McCoy Tedrow (85th in district and 111th in invitational), Edmida Hintz (86th in district and 112th in invitational), Jakub Heinemann (89th in district and 116th in invitational), Dylan Funk (96th in district and 124th in invitational), Hunter Heinemann (100th in district and 128th in invitational), Carl Dutridge (106th in the district and 135th in invitational), Brady Murray (107th in the district and 137th in invitational), Spencer Moden (109th in district and 139th in invitational), Hayes Demaline (113th in district and 114th in invitational), and Trevor Rohrs (114th in district and 145th in invitational).
