Highlights of the Pike-Delta-York Local School District school board meeting include:

The board approved the following recommendations from the superintendent:

•Resignation: Bronson Ebaugh Spanish teacher/technology effective Aug. 17.

Volunteers
Jerry Smith, Elementary Running Club
Sue Smith, Elementary Running Club

Certified Staff/Contract Offers
Jolene Kopena, Sub Teacher


Substitute Classified Staff
Jaimie Ruika, Substitute Bus Driver
Amanda Strayer, Substitute Bus Driver

•Approved the LPDC Handbook.

The board approved a request to allow the sixth-grade class to attend outdoor education camp at Camp Storer in Jackson, Mich. Students will leave Delta Middle School on district buses at approximately 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, stay the night on the 19th and 20th, then return to Delta Middle School, Oct. 21 around 1:30 p.m. Staff will be traveling with the students: Dave Kina, Jon Mignin, Kelly Finnen, Erin Olejniczak, Barb Taft and Jane Foor.
