In the early hours of July 11, the National Weather Service (NWS) of Northern Indiana issued a Dense Fog Advisory.

The advisory, which was sent out at 6:07 AM EDT, is in effect until 9:00 AM EDT today.

The advisory warns of visibility less than one mile due to dense fog.

This weather condition is expected to impact portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and northwest Ohio. T

he areas specifically targeted by this advisory include Elkhart, Lagrange, Steuben, Noble, De Kalb, Whitley, Allen, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Northern Kosciusko, Southern Kosciusko, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, Hillsdale, Williams, Defiance, and Paulding.

The dense fog is likely to create hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

As a result, the NWS has issued instructions for those who must travel during this time.

Drivers are advised to slow down, use their headlights, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles on the road.
