Denver Miller WEBDenver Miller January 16, 1922 – December 15, 2014. A long and invigorating life ended peacefully for Denver at Hillside County Living at the age of 92. Denver was born at home to the proud parents of Charles and Rena Miller in Montpelier.

There were six brothers and one sister who have all preceded him in death. Raymond, Kenneth, Everett, Keith, Lisle, Charles and Gladys Porter.

Denver married his wife Margaret in August, 1942. They enjoyed many good years together, married for 72 years. They loved cheering on whatever activities their kids were involved with. They had four children they were very proud of, Chuck and his wife Betsy live in California, Rich and his wife Cindy live in Connecticut, Susan Anderson living in Colorado and Nancy, who preceded Denver in death. They also loved dearly their grandchildren, Sean, Derek, and Kevin Anderson all in Colorado, Tory Todaro, Molly Lee, Alexa McGerry, Chris Miller all in California and Kyle Miller in Connecticut. Five great grandchildren were also a part of Denver’s special life.

Denver worked for the Body Works which became White Motors for over 30 years, where he became plant superintendent. He then joined his brother Keith where they owned and operated Miller’s Body shop for 25 years before retiring.

Our family owes a special thank you to Denver’s niece Brenda Miller French, who brought such joy to his life and Margaret’s. Being married to his wife Margaret for 72 years was the highlight of his life, and his family. Dad you will be missed but never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you consider a donation to the First United Methodist Church. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
