Dick L. Kinder, age 81, of Defiance, passed away Sunday evening at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. Prior to his retirement he had been an auto mechanic and a truck driver.
Dick was born in Henry County, Ohio on June 20, 1941, the son of Edna Kinder. On March 4, 1978 he married Iris Dangler, and she survives.
His is also survived by a daughter, Tracy (Thomas) Metzger of Napoleon; a son, David Kinder; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Nicholas.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Boynton Cemetery, near Stryker.
