Edon Branch Library’s summer reading program based on the overall theme of “Dig into Reading” will begin Wednesday, June 5th and end on Friday, July 12th. Testing shows that kids who read for fun in the summer do better and forget less when they go back to school. The summer months offer great opportunities for families to help improve reading and writing. One of the ways parents can do this is by bringing their children to the library for the summer reading program.
