Donna S. Murry, age 67, of Delta, was reunited with her Heavenly family on January 30, 2018 at Genesis of Swanton Valley. She was born in Toledo on December 29, 1950 to the late James Bailey and Virginia (Piddock) Bailey. Donna was a 1968 graduate of Whitmer High School. On November 2, 1968 she married Jerald L. Murry Sr. and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2010. Donna served as a cashier at Walmart for several years and was a member of the Delta Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and volunteering with Hands of Grace in Delta; where she made many friends.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerold L. Murry Jr in 1997; grandson, Jerry L. Murry in 2004 and two infant brothers, Ronald and Donald Bailey. Donna is survived by her son, Rocky (Angela) L. Murry Sr. of Delta; brother, Dale Allen Bailey; sisters, Debra Ann (Dave) Tucker and Jacqueline Ann Taulbee; grandchildren, Brandon R. Murry, Summer A. Murry and Caleb M. Losie and great grandchildren, Owen A. and Wyatt C. Warnke.
A memorial service celebrating Donna’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Delta Church of Christ, 500 Providence St., Delta, Ohio 43515. Pastor Joel Cassetto will be officiating. Private interment will be at Toledo Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the benevolence of the family.
